Terry Glenn of New England

Terry Glenn of the New England Patriots is another example of an athlete who takes the fact that he IS a professional athlete too seriously. He has been in the NFL for going on 5 years and he still hasn't come to grip with the fact that he is an employee of the team and not its owner.

He skips all of pre-season, upset that the team hasn't backed him up over his four game league mandated suspension, receives official notification that he will be suspended for the year if he doesn't return to training camp and sits at home brooding.

Apparently he thinks team rules only apply to everyone else but not to him. A senior member of the team (or perhaps the league) should pull this guy aside and straighten him out. As it is, he is a disgrace to pro sports.
