Windows XP Advertising

The web and TV advertisements for Windows XP all show users floating in the air. One get the impression that Uncle Bill (Gates) expects that the only PC users interested in using Windows XP will be those high on hallucinagenic drugs. Doesn't uncle Bill know that these types of drugs are illegal in the good old US of A?!?

If Microsoft wanted to show that they thought that Windows XP would be a breeze to use, they should have come up with something a little less odd.

I guess when the product itself won't sell the goods, hype is the only thing Microsoft has to fall back on.
